Sweet Goodness

As you may have already noticed I'm totally in love with my little princess. Today she looked like such a big girl sporting her pretty little sandals. I just had to share some of her bright happy charm to bring a little happiness into your heart.

I think every picture I take of Eden has her with her tongue hanging out. I think she is trying to taste the world. It brings just that much more charm to her sassy personality.

Eric's Birthday Bash

For Eric's birthday dinner of choice he chose to go to Red Robbin and eat their macaroni and cheese with mandarin oranges and have a group of servers come up and sing to him. They gave him a sundae but he didn't want it so he gave it to Josh. Then after dinner we headed over to the park and played on the toys. I think it was a well deserved birthday for a very special three year old.
 The special birthday boy

The boys were really busy trying to color their pictures. I tried to get Eric to look at the camera for a good picture but he wouldn't.

Josh going down the slide.

This was a really steep slide and it took lots of coaxing from his brother to get him down the slide, but he did do it.

She is sooooooo adorable! I should know every waitress and many of the guest at Red Robbin stopped to tell us so.

When we got home Eden was happy to play with her baby while the boys were busy building things in the living room.

Eric is 3

Today my big boy turned 3! Now that seems crazy since it feels like only yesterday I was holding a beautiful hungry 5lb 14oz baby boy. Now he is 30lbs and still always hungry. Only now he can talk,  and count his numbers and he knows his letters and is a really big help with his baby sister. He has green eyes and loves his blanket which he carries around with him when he is tired, angry, sad or just because. He spends his days running around chasing after his brother and tells me that he wants to be just like Josh. I love having two boys in a row, they do everything together. Many days I'll find him in a dish towel he is using for a cape and wearing one of my mixing bowls as a hat and calling himself a magician. Or riding in a space craft that he and his brother constructed taking them to the moon. I believe that this next year will bring more adventures for my little man as he starts preschool and learns more and more about math, alphabet and science. His massive desire for knowledge can be filled as he goes to school and has different experiences.
Happy Birthday
 to my beautiful
Little Man!

Backyard Pool Time

While the boys were playing in the pool Eden was trying to join them so I put her in a swimsuit and placed her beside the pool in the little puddles.

She was okay with that for a little while.

Then she started to little by little sneak her way in.

So her older brother not wanting her to drown started to spray her with the dragon's mouth.

That only made her want to get in even more. The reason I didn't put her in right away was that water was COLD! but never mind that, she was so excited to go swimming that no matter how cold the water was she was getting in, and she stayed in for about 15 minutes. Then Mommy "the party ender" brought them all in to take a nap, Good afternoon fun!

Summer School

My kids have learned that there is no such thing as a summer break at our house I just can't see why taking three months off of school is good for young learners. So in our little at home summer school I had Josh working on his numbers using a dice which by the way he is a pro at and writing me a story. I'm very impressed with his ability to spell and come up with interesting stories. Eric also worked on his numbers he knows his numbers 1-10 out of order, in order, but he is still working on his ABC's but given that his 3rd birthday is this Friday I am so impressed with the ability he has shown me already. He is also working on signing his ABC's at the same time. I find that it helps kids minds to multi task while learning. Josh has been great helping Eric to sign his letters.

Apple
By Joshua

A apple is on a tree. A apple fell on the boy's head. He walk home, he eat the apple. His pig is gone. Why is my pig gone said the boy, but the apple is gone to. BOOM! aaaaaaaaah! Mom! When the girl is fighting, the boy is looking for his pig. One big party. The end

I will tell you that Josh wrote 90% of this story without me and spelled most of the words right.
these days Josh is usually always wearing some form of super hero cape. I find it very enduring.

Part of Josh's story before he finished it.

11 Months

One month away from her first birthday and I'm still trying to figure out how she could possibly be almost one already . I mean didn't I just have her? Wasn't she my five pound baby like five minutes ago? Well things Eden is doing these days.

-She can pull herself up on things.

-Hit back when her brothers are being to rough (not a good habit of her's, she hits back even when they didn't do anything.)

-She feeds herself what ever we give her which is usually what ever we are eating.

-She has seven sharp teeth and an eighth on the way.

-She can say Dada and turn her Daddy's heart to mush in seconds.

-She no longer stays in one place anymore, she loves to move around by scooting and rolling very close to crawling.

-She is very spunky!

-Eden LOVES to smile!

Date Night

Jason and I don't get out very often to go on a date so when Jason won tickets to the Reno Aces game we thought why not? It was a really fun night out. The best part is the Aces won 4-1. We did almost get hit by a ball at one point by our team and I had a weird mascot come over to me and stick his tongue out at me, all I can say is it was a night full of laughter with my very best friend.

Sitting down getting ready for the game and having some dinner.

I had never been to an Aces game before, it was a nice experience and the ball park was really nice!

At this point we had been up by four to nothing.

After Archie randomly came over to me and stuck his tongue out at me, Jason insisted we get a picture with him for the boys, but next time we get a picture with the team mascot I'll have Jason pose with him, because Archie your suit kinda stinks. hee hee.

You know at one point during the night Jason and I were getting drinks with our dinner and when I looked up to see what choices of beverages they had and was a little disappointed to see only soda it was really nice to hear my husband say without having to ask me, "you know what my wife would rather have water". Only my husband would know that I really don't like soda and he looks out for me.

I'm so grateful I get to spend eternity with Jason, we have so much fun together!

Pretty in pink

Well we're getting closer to Eden being 11 months, so I tried to take her outside to take some pretty pictures of her I'm trying to get a picture that I love enough to replace her 3 month old picture that is on my wall at home. I'm not sure how I feel about them but I think that every picture I have of Eden is beautiful but thats because she is beautiful. How did she grow up before my eyes?

She looks like such a big girl in her big girl jammies.

 1st Place
I think that this one is my favorite.

2nd place

 3rd place
but only because I cut off part of her bow in the shot

and 4th Place

These next few are of Eden's new swim suits.

Cute girl in polka dots!

Sun

I can't believe that I forgot to take a camera yesterday when My Mother in Law and I took the kids over to the fountains but I  did. While we were there everyone was having fun but Josh was fighting me over keeping his swim shirt on. He told me that only babies wear sweatshirts and of course the motherly response was no everyone needs to wear a swim shirt, needless to say he thought better now he is suffering from this.....
I'm hoping that next time he will listen to me and keep his swim shirt on. It's a good thing I keep lots of Aloe Vera around the house.

Roses

When Roses are in full bloom they make some of the nicest back drops for taking pictures of my favorite candidates. My children will always know that their mother loves them very much because my camera is filled with my children. I'd rather take pictures of them then anything else. I just happen to be lucky because my children are so beautiful! Now I'm hoping that all mothers say that about their kids, Because it is such a blessing in my life to have three beautiful children that are kind and genuine individuals.
Just one of my beautiful rose bushes this year.

Josh wanted to make sure that everyone knew he was wearing an American flag on his shirt. He loves his country just like his Daddy and Mommy.

 My handsome little man Eric.

Now that is so Eden, Eden is not a timid little girl. Her personality is loud and fun loving. She is so happy and loves to make others happy too. Jason says that Eden reminds him of a miniature me that could be good or bad, we'll see.

Fun Pictures

The Sun finally came out yesterday and after my camera was fully charged, we went out and took a nice picture of Josh with his graduation hat. Eric of course had to get in on the fun so with lots of prompting from his brother we got a nice picture of him.

AND LOOK WHAT SHE CAN DO NOW!.....

Our house is in trouble now but she looks sooooooo cute, you'd never guess that total destruction is on it's way. hee hee hee.

Kindergarten Graduation

Well Josh is no longer a Kindergarten student he has passed off Kindergarten and is now a first grader. That went by fast, before you know it he will be 8 years old and looking at baptism. My camera unfortunately died so I didn't get as good of pictures as I would have wanted but I got a couple of fun videos. The one down side was that they stuck Josh next to a much bigger kid and my little boy was covered most of the time. The boys parents and grandparents were sitting right in front of us and could hear me voicing my frustrations, but they were polite and didn't say anything.
My handsome kindergarten graduate!

The kindergarten class singing to their parents

Oh and Eden before we left, I was finally able to curl her hair and I think it looks adorable!

Pool Fun
