Eric's 4th Birthday

I still don't know where the time has gone. We celebrated Eric this last weekend with the family. Saturday the whole family minus Parker went to Six Flags and had a very fun day. Having the whole family there made the trip that much more special. Eric was very grateful to have his cousin there to spend the day with. Josh went on his first big kid ride and loved it so much he went on the kids roller coaster all by himself and Eric rode the roller coaster for the first time and loved it so much that he road it with Mommy once and Grandpa twice.Eden seemed to only enjoy the splash pad and animal shows. She was not happy about any of the rides but that's okay we were there for Eric and he loved the rides and animal shows and water exhibits.
 Birthday Boy!

This was the first ride that the boys went on. Josh went on most of the rides with Eric.

The Dolphin show was really neat and very funny.

 Shark exhibit

Eden's most favorite part of the park was the splash pad. She was wiggling and giggling and getting all nice and soaked. During this time Josh who was suppose to be on the ride next to the splash pad walked off luckily we found him quickly. He was scared but kept telling us he was sorry and that he knew not to go looking for us and just stay in one place so we could find him. I'm glad that my lessons are sinking through and I'm very grateful that Jason found him.

Eden after the splash pad spent the rest of the zoo portion of the park in her diaper but she was happy.

Most of the animals were tired by the end of the day but not his mountain lion.

We had the birthday cake and gifts on Sunday. Eric loved the attention he received for two days in a row.
Happy birthday to my tender, kind, affectionate, and wonderful little boy
 I love you soooooo much!

My baby is turning 4

I don't know how it happened or why I can't seem to slow down the time but lately I've been remembering my past. The happy moments, the sad moments and the less than desirable moments. Four years ago I was getting ready for my nephew's blessing very pregnant with my own little man still a month away from my due date. We spent a wonderful weekend with the family then I told Jason that I wanted to go home, Mothers intuition. We went home and laid down in bed and before you knew it my water broke and a couple of hours later a beautiful happy boy came into my life. He was four weeks early and small but such a good eater. He has been a gentle reminder that everyone can be kind and loving that it is not just something that is taught but that some come to this earth with. Two years into his life his sister was born and he was what I call the perfect two year old. He did not do the typical get into everything and was kind and loving to his sister.

 Eric five days old
Probably the only time in his life when anyone called him smaller than average.

Eric at one years old after his first hair cut

2 years
holding his baby sister for the first time.

3 years
His cherished blankie. To this day he still cuddles with it when he is upset or tired.

4 years
He told me that he wants to grow big like daddy and that his best friend is Josh and that one day he will marry Eden before Josh can get to her. And that only at night when he is changing into PJ's does the true hulk that lives inside come out to play.

Look how much you've grown over the last four years. Please slow down and don't grow up to fast I cherish every moment I can hold you and give you kisses with out you pushing me away. Happy early Birthday to my little man.

Garden Blessings

We harvested our peas. The kids helped me plant these peas and they helped me weed them and take care of them and now they helped me eat them.

We have been saving up for these house renos for a while and we can now begin. We started with the removal of the fireplace that dose not work.
Eden at the beginning of the removal before anything was started.

This was about mid afternoon, something is missing off of our roof.

when they broke through into the living room Josh was big time surprised.

 This is after day 1

And what did I do with my kids from about 1 to 3:00 well I couldn't let them play in their normal place so they played with the computer.

Last day of School

Well that time has just flown by. Today is the last day of school this year has been a challenge of it's own and looking back we came out better people. I wanted to see just how much my children have changed over this last year and it just blows my mind just how much they really have grown and I wish I could somehow slow it down but that just wont happen. Good luck to all you amazing moms with school age children.
I hope your summer is a good one!

Yesterday was my last day as a working Mother trying to juggle being a Mom and having a career. Many of my customers were very supportive of my decision to come home and put my focus back on my children. I will miss so many of the people that I worked with and thank them for giving me some wonderful experiences. In celebration of being just a mom again I signed up to run in the Run or Dye 5K. It was soooooooooo much fun next year I would really love to run it with my family. They were all there to support and throw paint at me.
Before the race with one of my best buds Josh

I could never do the things I do with out this amazing man by my side.
Love you Jason

My pretty little princess gearing up for the race.

Josh was waving me off before the Race started.

After eh Race I was hit with many colors and had sooooooo much fun I then pulled out my paint bag and colored my loving family at the finish line so they could be a big part of the day with me.

Josh giggled and said no Mommy no not me but loved every moment of getting painted.

All of us painted and happy at the end of of the race.  I came in 15 out of more than 2000 people. Not that I was fast just lucky to be towards the front.
