Joshua

Today is Josh's fifth birthday, over the weekend we took him to Sacramento so that the whole family could join in on the fun, but much to my frustration I left my purse at my in laws house with the camera that had all the pictures from the ultra fun birthday party. So I wont be able to post any of the pictures till my father in law brings me my purse this week. You know when ever I'm pregnant my brain is full of mush. The party was soooooooo much fun. We went with a party package at Chuckee Cheeses. Josh was a birthday star who got to dance with Chuckee and was crowned on stage. The attention that he got is not for every child but Josh loved it! They also put him in the ticket machine which for ten seconds gives the birthday kid a chance to grab as many tickets as they can. Josh managed to grab a certificate for 100 tickets and anther for 50. He also grabbed several tickets worth 1 ticket each. Josh received a whole new wardrobe between his Nana, Papa, Grandma and Grandpa. His aunt and uncle also gave him new Sunday clothes and mommy and daddy gave him more clothes so between everyone he has a new outfit to wear for the next two weeks. He asked for clothes for his birthday because he received so many toys for Christmas that most are still in their packages. We are so blessed to have such a loving family that come out to share in Josh's special day.
Happy Birthday Peanut I love you

Farris Wheel

Today Jason and I took the boys to Scheels, for those who do not know what Scheels is it is a sports store/ Museum. Josh wanted to try the Farris wheel and being that he is tall enough Jason was happy to take him. They had a great time. I'm to much of a chicken to go but I stood on the ground and happily waved. I of course forgot my camera. Then we went shopping for Josh's birthday. Josh as usual spent most of his time in the clothing store looking at all the little baby girl clothes and told us over and over again that this or that would be great for a baby girl. I told him that this baby could be a baby boy and his response was it's not a baby boy mom it's a girl! It sure would be a lot of fun to have a baby girl that I know my fashion friendly son could help me dress. After the fun shopping day we came home I went to sleep because these days thats one of the things I do a lot of and the boys went out to play.

Hope you had a fantastic Saturday

boo

I have had a real problem getting around to blogging. I use my blog as a family journal but I also try really hard to say nothing but positive on it. Well thats why I have not been writing lately I'm struggling to say anything positive. In the last ten weeks my two best friends have been a toilet and a kitchen sink and sometimes the tub if I can't get to the toilet in time. Not a pleasant way to spend two and a half months. The fun part is that I get sick then I'm fine then it hits me again so excuse me if I'm cranky, I'm also dealing with extreme hormonal roller coasters. So I found a couple of pictures to describe how I feel.
At the moment the toilet and the sink are my best friends they rarely let me down.
This cartoon says it all I hope you can read it.

Trying to find humor in this section of my pregnancy is helping me to get through this. Instead of gaining weight like I'm suppose to I lost about five more pounds but don't worry at the rate my stomach is growing I'll gain it right back very quickly.
I hope everyone is having a great Thursday.

The Best Friend I could ever ask for

The last five weeks were getting continually harder as I was trying desperately to hang in there. It was starting to get so bad that I made a call for help being that I am not scheduled to see my Dr. for another month my Mom was the first to respond to my need to stop being sick. I should always remember to ask my Mom first. She knows more about morning sickness than any women I have ever met. She has a Thyroid problem  and due to that all of her pregnancies put her in the hospital for dehydration. She couldn't keep anything down and it was like that for the entire time she was pregnant. So when I asked for help her response was take one Vitamin B6 with real ginger ale. My mother is also a nursing educator so she has health care provider connections that she can ask if she doesn't know the answer to the questions. Well I'm all better. Still super tired and I'm on a emotional roller coaster that my poor husband has to deal with but he is a great man. So last week while I spent almost all my time on the couch my house was falling apart at the seems. dishes were piling up the toys were finding themselves out of the toy room and into the living room and the boys were bringing their snacks out into the living room normally a big no no in my house. So Friday night Jason came home early from work and cleaned everything and took care of me and the boys. He never complains that I'm not carrying my end of the load and when I'm craving something he gets it for me almost always except when it is bad for me which is almost everything I crave but when it will be good for me he gets it and happily does anything I need him to. He is the best friend and support I have.
I was able to pull myself off the couch to take this picture. I do still get sick but it is a lot more manageable when I know how to make myself a little better.
