Day before Easter

For our family the day before Easter has been just as packed full of things as Easter. I think it should also be considered a holiday. The Saturday before Easter is when we do our family parties, Easter egg hunts and all around good fun. This year we spent the holiday with Jason's family. very early Saturday morning like 3:30am Jason and his dad left to go snow shoeing. the rest of us lazed around and went to the park with the kids to play. When the men finally came back we all went over to my sister in laws house to have a family barbecue and easter egg hunt. We even got the chance to chase a couple of chickens. The food was good as was the company.

 Jenna came up with this fun chicken game. She tied paper to each chicken( she has two) and then the boys had to chase the chickens and if they could catch the chickens they got a prize. Josh caught his chicken really fast but it took Dilyn and Eric a bit longer.

 The chickens were really nice and calm around the kids.

 After the chicken chasing the adults got a little crazy and released the inner child in themselves. except me but that because I really don't like getting wet.

Eden slept through it all. Next year she is going to have so much fun with these crazy boys.
