Help!

I know that this is my third baby but I need some advise. With my pregnancy's with Josh and Eric there was no morning sickness with Josh and only a little bit with Eric, yes I know I was very blessed but this third pregnancy is like a total opposite. I feel like I have the stomach flu 24/7 and it is only getting worse. So to save the sanity of my household I would love it if you Mom's out there who have had experience with morning sickness please tell me how to make it better. Oh and why the heck do they call it morning sickness? I'm sick all the time and the night time is the worst.

I'm sure I've got nothing you haven't already heard, but it helped me a bit to keep saltine crackers by the bed and eat a few before I got up. Also sipping gingerale throughout the day, and lots of chewable Tums. No full meals, just a few bites a few times every hour. The foods that did and didn't make me sick changed every few weeks. Ugh.

Also, lots of just laying on the couch moaning while the kids watched movies. Not pretty, but that was the reality. Even now, I get physically ill when I see Piglet's Big Movie.

Hope you feel better!!!

OH! And we tilted the top of the bed up. It helped SOOOO much to have my head a little higher than my stomach. We just used two different sizes of bedlifters. It takes a few nights to get used to it, and don't use slick sheets or you end up in a pile at the bottom. :) Try it, you may never go back to flat!

Sorry! I have never found anything to help me. But I think making sure you never have an empy stomach makes it a little better. Def the salting crackers helped! Good luck!

Oh my goodness-first of all-CONGRATS!!! Chase and I are so excited for you and Jason!!! 3#, that is so awesome!
I hope that you start feeling better soon! Try the crackers like others have said, and try some ginger tea (a piece of ginger with hot water in it) ginger helps to calm upset stomachs! That might help, or even just ginger ale,but the ginger tea would be stronger, and thus hopefully help more!! Good luck!!

Looks like you and I are on the same track. Congratulations! Night time is always the worst for me too. The doctor ended up giving me a prescription to help out with the nausea. I was so sick, throwing up 3-4 times a day before that, so maybe you could ask for something. Good luck and hang in there!
