Lake Powell Trip 2013

As always the lake Powell trip was a lot of fun. The best part of it was Josh getting up on the skis for the first time and truly loving the water sport that his dad loves. We started out our trip going to our best friends in Pleasant Grove and visiting Temple Square. Temple square has such tender memories for us. Almost 9 years ago Jason and I were sealed there. We try and visit as often as we can, and share those feelings with our children. After temple square we headed up to Oakley where Jason's grandmother and aunts live for the yearly family reunion and fourth of July fun. Josh had so mush fun at the Rodeo Eric needs one more year he was so tired that he crashed before the fireworks. Then headed over to Gunnison where Jason's other Grandmother lives and got all the supplies needed for Lake Powell. Lake Powell is a wonderful place that brings the family together and browns our skin or in some family members cases turns them super red. Not my little family we soaked our selves in sunscreen but some of the teenagers forgot to use the sunscreen. I'm so happy to be home now with my family  and to be reunited with my beautiful little girl who was to little to go. We are so grateful to my parents who stayed and watched Eden for us and while I feel very sick at the moment and will for at least another month our hearts are full knowing that we have a forever family and it is growing every day.

This place was the coolest place you climbed up and then jumped through the hole into the water.

Josh got up on the skis the very first time. It is not an easy thing to learn. He will be a pro before we know it.

There was always time for a game of Uno
