Smile

I did my daily exercising around the beautiful Marina. Then I came home to some really happy boys. Eric was given a whole bunch of new clothes from a friend yesterday so I dressed him up this morning, which by the way my boy who just turned one is wearing 18 month clothes and they fit perfect. I also got Josh all dressed up now I have some really happy boys. Hope you are having a really great morning and if your not go for a walk you'll feel better soon.

Eric is One!

It has now been 12 months since I delivered my beautiful baby boy. We already had the party but yesterday Eric and I spent some time taking pictures. Eric and Josh are some of the happiest kids I know. I have proof a lady at the pool told me she had never seen a happier set of boys.

He is climbing on everything and really wants to walk. He is finally weened!!!!! I made it the entire 12 months and as a gift from mommy I set him and my self free. Now only being the first day we'll see how he does. He LOVES cold cow milk. Well that's no surprise he loves FOOD.
He has eight very sharp teeth. We did take some one year pictures but we do not have them yet so when they come I'll post them.
As for Josh his birthday gift was to put shaving cream all over Eric's head and try to shave it. So now Eric has a small bald spot. After I made sure that no one had been hurt and the boys cleaned up I was able to laugh but I'm telling you these boys keep me on my feet. So enjoy your day and the pictures of Eric's first year.

Eric's birthday party

Eric's actual birthday is tomorrow but over Fathers day weekend we went to Folsom to celebrate this special day with family. During the day we went boating which was really fun everyone was able to get up on either the skis or the knee board the first time. We saw lots of amazing crashing happening as family started getting to brave on their tricks. Josh, Eric and Dilyn all had tons of fun swimming and playing on the beach. After everyone was tired we went home and had cake and ice cream. Eric devoured his cake and was not that interested in his presents but his brother and cousin took care of that part for him. It was a very special time I still can't recall where the year went. I'm just so grateful I have such a sweat and beautiful baby boy and a great big brother helper.

 He loved the cake as soon as the candle was blown out he grabbed the first piece he could set his hands on.

He was given a set of toy pans from his Aunt Jenna and Uncle Kyle.

Thanks to my parents for giving us the football cake molds and to the rest of the family for making Eric's birthday special.

Swimming lessons

Today was Josh's first day at swimming lessons, he loved it. He listened to the instructors and did everything they asked him to no fear.Other kids were scared out of their minds but not my boy who by the way was the smallest boy there and also the bravest. Eric did a lot of watching and playing with my bracelet. Then when we got home we were eating lunch when Eric decided to put his lunch on his head and laugh at me. I then cleaned up lunch and put Eric down for a nap when Josh walked in and told me that he was tired of waiting for mommy to be ready to have another baby so he would have a baby sister for me. Josh has been asking for a baby sister for months. Josh cracks me up. I hope that story brightened your day.

Fun times

The boys and I have been having a lot of fun now that the weather has warmed up. We play at the park and go walking and play in our beautiful backyard.  We thought we'd share a  few pictures from our fun.

Me and my boys

Jason went to an Elders quorum activity today and I went to the Marina with the boys to exercise. After the circuit I let the boys play at the park. this picture was taken after the walk and just before I let them go to play. They had a great time and enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous day. The sun was shining it was 80 degrees out and it was a perfect setting for a mother sons outing. I hope everyone else had a great Saturday morning. I love how chunky Eric is it just makes me want to squish him. Josh found two little boys at the park that were fighting so Josh showed them how to have fun with out getting mad. It was really cute how he showed them how to play together.
