Our water heater has been slowly dying since we moved into our house three years ago we finally replaced it. Now our water comes out hot right away and it's unlikely that we'll run out of hot water. Now that is a luxury! But it took a lot of work to get the old one out and the new one in. Our old one was a 1980's model and was not up to code so making the new one up to code was the tricky part but after an entire day of working on it it's finally there. We did find a 1988 can of baby formula when we took out the old heater. The next project is to replace the furnace which is original to the house (1961) It died last year but you can be very inventive when you have to be. That will go in a different place so I will have a little pantry where the old furnace is now so in a kitchen that is low on storage space that is a big deal. Now all I can say is please nothing else break down.

The new water heater
I know the sun is in Eric's eyes but he and Josh are both really excited about the new water heater and being able to wash their hands.
