I just wanted to post some cut pictures of Eric and Josh that were taken over the weekend. The hat by the way that Josh is wearing is actually the top to the pinata that was used at the ward activity Saturday.

To cute not to post!
I just wanted to post some cut pictures of Eric and Josh that were taken over the weekend. The hat by the way that Josh is wearing is actually the top to the pinata that was used at the ward activity Saturday.
First day of school
Today was Josh's first day back to school. We had to put Josh in School last spring when we found out that he had a speech delay and that Preschool would help him. well it did help last spring and he has the same teacher again this year and she is the best. What is really special this year is that Josh has a friend in his class this year and we really look forward to the fun he will have learning and progressing.

Family Vacation to the ocean
My parents live in Fresno now, they are your typical gypsy couple not by choice I might add but, since Jason and I have been married they have moved from Sparks to St. George now to Fresno. Any ways Jason and I had not visited them in CA so we decided to go and visit them before school started for Jason and Josh. Friday on the way to Fresno our passenger window was blown out all over me I might add that happened in Stockton I am now not a fan of Stockton since windows do not normally blow out except with extreme force. So if paying for tuition was not already killing our wallets a new window helped add to it. Saturday My parents took us to the ocean. That was so cold! but a lot of fun, Josh had never seen the ocean before and his first glimpse at it he was immediately happy and said oh Nana look at the snow! We jumped waves while we were there and saw dolphins swimming near by, built a sand castle and tried not getting sand all over Eric while I nursed him. All together it was a great trip. During the drive we saw miles and miles of produce growing it was truly a sight to see for a bunch of desert people. After spending a day at the beach we drove over to Monterrey for clam chowder Jason was so lucky he got to eat his three favorite foods at the restaurant, Clam chowder, Salmon and Cheese cake not a bad trip I might say. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us come!

Eric's two month check up
Eric had his two month check up today and boy where has the time gone?
I knew my boy was big but I don't think I could have ever guessed Eric's weight and height. He weighed in at 11lbs and 2oz and 22 1/2 inches long. This places Eric in the 50th percentile for height and weight. The funny thing is his head was in the 10th percentile. I think he is one of the most adorable little guys not quite as laid back as his older brother but still pretty easy going. Jason and I feel so blessed to have the best boys for us.

Fun with my boys
Jason and I took the boys to the river again on Saturday and just had a good time. After some sun burns and lots of water we were really grateful to spend the time together. Eric has gotten pretty big in the last week I had to pull out the 3-6 month clothes since he is getting to long for the 0-3 month stuff. It has been so much fun looking through all the old baby clothes. The hat Eric is wearing fit Josh when he was 12 months old. I keep asking myself are these really brothers? They are so different already.

Five Great Years

It's been five years since Jason and I were married. It has been the most wonderful five years of my life. I was blessed to marry the most understanding, gentle and patient man I know. He blessed me with two beautiful sons and has worked very hard to provide a living for us while going to school. I give thanks to the Lord for guiding me to him and to the Parents who raised this amazing man.
In the last five years we have been busy: in a nut shell,
First year went to school, conceived our oldest son Josh.
Second year, Josh was born, moved into a bigger apartment, more school.
Third year, juggled parent hood, purchased a condo, sold condo, purchased a house, laid off of Job acquired a business. More School
Fourth year, built up our business, Jason was called as the head help people move out of our ward specialist. More School.
Fifth year, conceived Eric, Sold Business, Jason working as general manager for the man who purchased our business, I graduate, a nephew is born, Eric is born. More school for Jason.
I love our lives it has been a real learning experience everyday that we have been married. I really look forward to the future with this amazing man who I feel blessed to have love me in return.
Happy Anniversary Jason.

Eric
I just love how big Eric is getting, When you start life out at 5 lbs it really is amazing when just seven weeks later you are almost 10 lbs. I love my little chubby boy. My friend gave us some clothes for Eric and one of them was this adorable pair of pants with Elmo on the back. Josh who loves Elmo noticed them first and pointed out that Elmo was on Eric's bum bum. Josh's vocabulary has improved a great deal since school let out. I'm so pleased with his efforts with speech and I think his teacher will be too. I just love being the mother of these two amazing boys. They keep my life busy and enjoyable.
Josh
Okay my father inlaw would appreciate this stunt of Josh's. I was in my bedroom trying to put Eric down for his nap when I heard Josh saying go away bee so I came out to investigate and this is what I found. Josh is getting much better at climbing. He sure takes after his parents I just wish I was small enough to climb the fireplace too.

My boys at six weeks

I wanted to see why every one was telling me that my two boys look so alike when I saw how different they looked so I placed the pictures of my boys side by side. You can tell they're brothers but the biggest difference is that one was skinny and the other is very chunky. It sure is fun to look back when Josh was only Six weeks old.

He did it again.
Well after the last time Josh colored all over my walls you would think he wouldn't attempt a stunt like that again but, I've discovered that my boy learns very slowly and is a wonderful artist that just can't be regulated. Yesterday it was not my walls neither was it with pen those by the way are in exile after the wall incident. It was with crayon and my kitchen floor. Now you must be thinking I'm an irresponsible Mom since he has coloring books and paper and I give them to him to use all the time and he still colors on my house instead. You may also be saying keep them out of his reach and it wont happen. Well my comment to that is he finds a way to get to them. Yesterday he pushed the high chair over to the fridge and climbed up and got the crayons off the top of the fridge while I was in the other room nursing his brother. I did learn my lesson from last time I made him clean it all up. Thank goodness for washable crayons and a tiled floor. Now I really need to find a way to keep my little artist satisfied so that he dose not try another decorating stunt. Any ideas?
Oh and just a little picture of Eric he really is so cute.

Eric
My friends through a baby shower for me this weekend but thanks to father sons also being this weekend I gave Jason the camera and I have no pictures of the baby shower. Which by the way was so much fun. Karla gave me the CD of pictures that she took of Eric when he was six days old and they are beautiful but of course I have to say that because he is my son but they really are beautiful. Thanks again Karla you are the best.

Eric
6 hours old
4 weeks old
It's been four weeks since Eric was brought into our family and boy has he changed. when he was delivered he weighed 5 lbs 14 oz he now weighs 8 lbs. He is quickly out growing his newborn clothes and is just about ready for the next size up in diapers. What a huge difference from Josh who really just didn't like to eat. Eric is such a sweet baby and Josh is the best big brother our family feels so blessed to have these two little guys in our home.
A day at the river
Saturday was very hot so as a family we decided to spend a little time at the river to cool down. It turned out to be so much more fun than we planned. Josh loved to go down the natural water slides and climb on the rocks. Eric was content sleeping in the shade and being held by daddy when he got out of the water. It's funny I have lived in Sparks for twelve years and this was the first time I played in the river. All this time I've been missing out. This particular park is located in Sparks and was very easy to get to. We look forward to our next trip back.

Eric
Today was Eric's two week check up ironically today was also suppose to be my scheduled day to have Eric. When Eric was born four weeks early he was essentially very healthy just small weighing in at 5 lbs and 14oz. At his two week check up he weighed in at 7lbs and 4 oz. The Dr. told us that he had never seen a growth spurt quite that big. I guess I'm finally getting this nursing thing right or Eric just likes eating more than Josh did.

Brotherly love
Josh has discovered that Eric will not be leaving and after some tears and tantrums was finally ready to hold his brother. Now Josh thinks that having a baby brother is neat and wants to love his brother all the time. To bad Eric is not overly joyed by the loves.
The beginning of week three.
Thank goodness for parents. I have no idea how I would have survived if my parents had not come to help the first week and half that I was home with a new baby and a tearful three year old. unfortunately they had to leave yesterday. So I was on my own running on no sleep and a busy little boy but I'm happy to say I did survive. Eric's umbilical cord finally fell off Monday evening so I decided to give him his first bath. I remembered when I gave Josh his first bath and how much he screamed through the whole thing granted it was February. Eric on the other hand loved his bath and promptly fell asleep. Josh helped me give his sleeping brother a bath. Here are some of the pictures from that fun event.
